Short Stories : Mother's Love

Here is a great story that invited tears in my eyes, Contributed by Paras Foundation

It was a very beautiful morning as the faint streaks of the sun can be seen through the tree

branches. I was very busy preparing a proposal which must be handed in urgently to my
always impeccable boss the following day. I moved to Singapore alone after I had

completed my first degree to get a better job as a manager in a bank at Raffles Place. Both of my parents are still staying in the small little idyllic island in Malaysia. My mother is the one whom I respected the most. She gave me her love during my childhood years. She brought me up by facing a lot of problems and hardships. I love her so much in my heart and I will always do.
I am very busy attending meetings and preparing proposals for almost every day. I lived a very hectic life in order to get high salary and to bare my extreme expenses. I don’t have the time to visit my mum as I usually will only contact her through letters or just a call but this time I just don’t have the time to contact her at all. We remain silent for a year. It has been 4 years since I last moved here and I have never visited my mum even once. One day while I was having a meeting with other managers from China, my secretary rushed into my meeting room clumsily (as she always does) asking me to answer an urgent call. Well, I couldn’t leave this meeting just like this as it would affect the income of our bank. It will be a great loss to our bank. Therefore, I decided not to answer the call.
Few months have passed; I received a letter one morning in the mail. It was from my mum. I was shocked and I couldn’t even open my mouth to say a word. I was stunned for a moment. As I open the letter, my heart was filled with fear and disappointment.
My dearest son,
I knew you have been busy all the while. You are always my dearest son and I will always love you. As you are reading this letter, I won’t be around anymore. I have gone to a very far place. My heart will still be with you. I couldn’t look after you forever. I am sorry. You are the one whom I care and love the most. Son, I’m very happy to see that you are successful now. My last advice for you is health comes before wealth. I love you son. Take care.
With love,
Mum
I just couldn’t help myself and I had done something really very wrong. I felt extremely sorry for her. I regretted for what I had done. I decided to put a halt to all my work just to pay a visit at my old house in Penang. As I was opening the door slowly, my tears came down in buckets. This house reflected my golden times when I was a child sleeping on my mother’s arm soundly. Entering through the door with tears, I was astonished to see my mum sitting on her wheelchair. She was smiling beautifully at me. I was too excited to talk. I rushed towards her to give her a hug but she vanished out of a sudden. This was just an illusion in my mind which just couldn’t be forgotten.
After this hurtful incident, I have learnt a very powerful lesson. This has taught me that Money isn’t everything. Family must always come first. This gave me a big leap of life. We must always remember our mother. She is the one who gave us happiness and love.

Moral: Charity begins at home. Money is just a piece of paper that causes lots of trouble to some people in this world.

Never judge anyone : Small Story

Here is one short story contributed by my Brother Manoj Sharma

Never judge anyone..... because U never know how their life is & what they're going through"

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery.

He answered the call asap, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block.

He found the boy's father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.

On seeing him, the dad yelled: "Why did U take all this time to come? Doesn’t U know that my son's life is in danger? Don't U have any sense of responsibility?"

The doctor smiled & said:
"I am sorry, I wasn't in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call...... And now, I wish you'd calm down so that I can do my work"

"Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would U calm down? If your own son dies now what will U do??" said the father angrily

The doctor smiled again & replied: "I will say what Job said in the Holy Book "From dust we came & to dust we return, blessed be the name of God".

Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for your son, we will do our best by God's grace"
"Giving advises when we're not concerned is so easy" Murmured the father.

The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,
"Thank goodness!, your son is saved!" And without waiting for the father's reply he carried on his way running. "If U have any question, ask the nurse!!"

"Why is he so arrogant? He couldn't wait some minutes so that I ask about my son's state" Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: "His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son's surgery.

And now that he saved your son's life, he left running to finish his son's burial."

I am a father: A poem for fathers

i am a father
I am living a best time of life, you know why? As the subject suggests, I am enjoying my parenthood as a father.
So here is my fatherly poem.

The kids are young and i am matured.
They call me papa because i am a father

They hug me hard and i kiss them often
They love me a lot becuase i am a father

They smile a lot, i play with them very hard
I cannot get tired because i am a father

They want me to feed them, they want me to dress them
They love my presence because i am their father

They complain for friends, sometimes for their mother
I cannot neglect becuase i am a father

I glimpse when they sleep, i cry when they cry
They know i love them becuase i am a father

They touch my face and i feel like a heaven
I feel blessed because i am a father

They go out or to school, i feel alone
I like their presence because i am a father

A gift costs nothing, a chocolate costs a penny
They make me feel millionair when they smile because i am a father

My name is attached to them today, i want to be known by their name tomorrow
I bless them hard, i wish them harder, let me praise them as i am a father

Dedicated to all blessed fathers like myself.

Tips for startups and micro sized companies

Tips for new entrepreneurs, startups or micro size companies : my own learning

1. Control your cost and increase your income
2. Strive for continual income
3. Install some people tracking and work tracking mechanism
4. Don’t just rely and depend on your people, check everything they do
5. Don’t think you are the boss, It doesn’t work in current scenario
6. No marketing/sales staff at the business start if you can , add them gradually
7. Don’t hesitate to fire people,  you can’t afford to continue a useless resource, that will eat out your own salary
8. Communicate to your customer often. They are paying your bills.
9. Work hard to deliver the good quality of service or product, you can’t just win on competitive prices of yours because for price customer comes once, for quality the customer is retained for long
10. Priorities should be clear, if you have started business, that should be top priority and anything else should be last. Personal priorities have ruined many startup businesses.
11. You cann't afford to sit down in a cubical and expect your people to do miracles for you, you have to sit down with them and let them know your ambitions. Help them to achieve and then they will do miracles for you.

Motivational Story : Fisherman and MBA

My Brother Manoj Sharma contributed this story. Interesting one and Must Read....

A boat is docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village.
A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took to catch them.

"Not very long." they answered in unison.

"Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"

The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families.

"But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take siestas with our wives. In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs.
We have a full life."
The tourist interrupted,

"I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you!
You should start by fishing longer every day.
You can then sell the extra fish you catch.
With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."
"And after that?"

"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers.
Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant.

You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City , Los Angeles , or even New York City !

From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."
"How long would that take?"

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years." replied the tourist.

"And after that?"

"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting," answered the tourist, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions!"

"Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the fishermen.

"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children,
catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends."

"With all due respect sir, but that's exactly what we are doing now. So what's the point wasting twenty-five years?" asked the Mexicans.

And the moral of this story is:

Know where you're going in life, you may already be there! Many times in life, money is not everything.
“Live your life before life becomes lifeless”

Where is my customer?

20% of your customers will give you 80% of your business. So this states I have to retain what I have to grow from where I am.

Most of the organizations have this major issue of retaining the customers; in fact some of them become a test lab for their competition.

So what are the reasons; why a customer leaves you and never comes back? I would like to explain it by two examples here.

This morning I went to my snacks parlor, he is the one I have been buying my snacks for nearly 4 years now. I bought something for me and my wife. Went home and here is the surprise. One of the snack that I bought had already lost the taste because it might have been cooked last night.
Imagine the reaction of my wife, "Hey! Forget this snacks parlor, I don't want to eat anything from this buddy in future. "

What is the lesson; do not sell or propose under quality product. Make sure you deliver the best and make sure you test it 10 times before you sell to customer. Let me tell you this snacks parlor is very old in area and making good money but if I am a lost customer, he might have lost more in recent past.

Example 2 : I visited our garment merchant, this again is the same one from where my wife is shopping for 5-6 years now.
The shop had less customers, I felt fortunate that this time I will save time. Gradually I realized why there were less or almost no customer beside me.
The products offered to my wife had less variety, the approach was this "I offer this many items only; if you wish you may check other stores in the town"
Huh!, then I suddenly found that the sales girl was exchanging words with other customer on her repair work of garments she bought last night.
My reaction this time, "Honey, since they wish we should try other stores, why not to visit others this time"

So here is the lesson #1 : If you have been offering good varieties, keep doing, if you stop adding varieties, the customer feels that you are no longer interested in business.

Lesson #2 : never exchange words with one customer if there are other customers around, because it might be a mistake of first customer but the other customer will always feel that he will be treated same way.
Communication; that is another major issue in service industry. If the proper message is not conveyed to the customer in proper manner and on right time, customer feels they are ignored on this shop, let's see the other shop.

The approach that makes the difference, if you let them feel that they are important to you, they will make you feel special. But if you count them like one in many, they have various options too.

Never compare one customer to other, some are demanding and some are calm.

As a seasoned business person or customer account manager, deal with them differently. Especially with demanding customer, be straight and be clear, have a note of everything if possible.

Though certain customers do go away but if they leave with good taste in mouth, they will return soon.

What is Spirituality and Religiousness?

Let me present my thoughts on spirituality and religiousness, this is what I understand based on my knowledge so far, it may differ in different sources of information available online or offline.

Touching a sensitive topic is full of risk but I wanted to differentiate religiousness and spirituality ; most of the people feel that both are same, but actually they are not.

Religiousness defines the god in physical format; Spirituality accepts the existence of God but it never gives a physical form to it.

Religion defines the god as defined in the books; Spirituality has defined the god and its existence by examples and real experiences

Worship is done in religiousness; practicing principles of goodness is done in spirituality.

Here loving the god is religiousness; Here loving the creation of god is spirituality.

Religion defines boundaries while spirituality has no boundaries.

Religiousness makes you happy during the rituals; spirituality gives happiness from inside forever.

Religiousness may doubt the existing of god when found in unbearable situations; spirituality makes you believe in existence of super power and you feel that its all planned and you are only the source of making things happen that are planned for you.

God gives Darshan (view) that's believed in Religiousness; Spiritual people find the god inside and in creations of lovely things by god.

A religion is a relative theory, it tells you do this and your wish will come true, spirituality is a sure shot thing; it tells you to keep doing good things to others and good will happen to you.

A religious person travels till the million miles to meet the defined god; the spiritual person keeps travelling life long to satisfy the inner greed of making god made people prosperous and hunger free.

A spiritual person believes in all religions and accepts the existence of all beliefs along with the universal law
"Live and Let live and help them to live".

The article is somewhere inspired by Bhagwad Gita and Karma theory of Shree Krishna.

Gita Quotes

Here are the lessons taught in Bhagawad Gita, from Shri Krishna to Arjuna in Mahabharat.

1:- Perceiving the world as ‘Me and mine’ gives rise to attachments, ‘You and yours’ to jealousy, both deserve to be shunned.

2:- Service to humanity is the true treasure worth aspiring, for it purifies our inner being and conquers all desires.

3:- Man falls into a sinful state, when attainment of material desires and sense gratification become the sole pursuit of life.

4:- One who has risen above desires and conquered the hankering of the senses, recognizes the divine nature of all beings, even though outwardly seen performing action in reality performs selfless action.

5:- Smallest of offering made by a true seeker I accept, and reward him as my true devotee. Therefore, whatever your endeavors be, when performed as an offering to me, will free you of their consequences.

6:- Those who worship my manifested from, I regard as my devotees and the ones, who worship my un-manifested from with their senses under control, engaged in the welfare of humanity become ONE with ME.

7:- The one who remains equanimous in joy and sorrow, praise or criticism, poverty or plenty has transcended qualities that constitute the binding nature.

8:- One who has attained the supreme consciousness overcomes the play of senses is known as a ‘Yogi’. For him the material world with its temptations stands dissolved, forever.

9:- ‘Maya’ arising from a combination of lust and desire is the force that drives a man to self gratification – it binds the soul to the material world.

10:- One who dedicates all action to ME, is ever absorbed in contemplation of the supreme being, giving up all attachments and serves fellow beings, attains MY eternal state.

11:- True bliss is a state where adversity and sorrow do not exist, an ever contended state – it is like a medicine which in the beginning appears bitter, but in truth, purifies from within.

12:- Surrender your complete being and all action to Me. You will attain to an eternal state of bliss from where there is no coming back to this transient world.

WE ARE WHAT WE BELIEVE WE ARE

WE ARE WHAT WE BELIEVE WE ARE

A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $ 500 Note. In the room
of 200, he asked, "who would like this $ 500?' Hands started going up. He said, "I am
going to give this note to one of you, but first let me do this.'

He proceeded to crumple the note up. He then asked, 'who still wants it?' Still, the
hands were up in the air. 'Well,' he replied. 'What if I do this’? And the dropped it on the
ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up now, all
crumpled and dirty.

'Now who still wants it?' Still the hands went into the air. "My friends, you all learned
a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because
it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $ 500"

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the dirt by the
decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we
are worthless.

But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never Loose your
value.

"Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams". "We are
what we believe we are".

Friendship Story : Sand & Stone

SAND & STONE
A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone "TODAY
MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE."

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?" The other friend replied

"When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of Forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

A Special Person - They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Take the time to live!!!

Why do I exist?

Why do I exist?
I am trying to find answer of this question for long now, I am not sure if I have the correct answer with me but there are various reasons and purposes I have found those are partially answering my question of “Why do I exist”. This is more related to Hinduism Karma belief.

1.       When I was born to my mother and father, one of the reason of my existence could be,
Almighty God wanted to bless my father and mother with a second child like myself.

2.       From my perspective; the god wanted to gift me such great parents;
this must be because of my great karma of my previous life ( Purva Janma).

3.       Since I grew up, my parents were tested for their best of abilities to bring me up to the age, ability and experience that I have gathered today; I am what I am because my parents wanted that way.
I must say that my parents fully justified the responsibility that was given to them by “Paramatma”.

4.       Then it was my turn to do the return of favour, the “Parmeshwar” wanted me to do the best for my parents, giving them the benefit (“karma Fal”) of their good karma. I had to take care of their necessities and responsibilities and making them comfortable.

5.       There come the more difficult tasks of life that “Param Pita” wanted me to take care.
My life after marriage. My wife connected to me because of her Karma and so do I married to her because of my Karma. Since it’s said that the marriages are decided in heaven, mine was no exception to that.

6.       The kids born to happily married couple, the almighty wanted me to take care of more responsibilities; since I gained more confidence of “Bhagwan” now. I was gifted with two kids; I thanked god for both and selecting me and my wife on this earth to be proud parents of great children.

What next?

1.       There seems to be a long journey ahead. I feel there is more to be done till the maths of Karma doesn’t get solved with correct answer on the board.
2.       I believe I exist and I am living because “The Magician” wants me to do more for family, friends and society.

3.       I think “The Power house” like God wants me to help more to the other living beings so that everyone gets at least what they deserve.

4.       I could be the source or a hand, from where “The Almighty” wants to send his powers or necessities to many of his fellow followers.

5.       I might be the source by which my children will achieve their goals, their karma, for which they have born in this world.

6.       I exist because there might be more things to be achieved by me, for balance my karma or to balance other’s Karma on this earth.

7.       There might be a reason of giving me a birth on this earth that could be a rehearsal of my next “Janma - Incarnation” or I exist because of my previous birth and I didn’t complete something at previous Janama that time.

The question is very complicated and some of my answers to myself convince me up to certain extent.

I don’t want to go and find the god, that may not be the right exercise, but I am trying to find a way where I can meet myself.

What if I do not know “who Am I” and I still try to achieve the God like powers.
That has no meaning. Rather identifying me is easy and meaningful.

I exist because “Vishwatma” wanted me to be a human, I should justify by being Human to others, acquire the qualities of Human that might answer lot of my question of my existence.

An Eagle and a Chicken : Motivational Story

An Eagle and a Chicken story

Once upon a time, there lived an Eagle Couple on the top of the hill.

They live happily and had 5 eggs in the nest.

Unfortunately due to the earthquake one of the egg fell down to a chicken farm.

A chicken couple accepted this new Egg as a family and given it enough warmth till it hatched.

A nice eagle came out from the egg one day, he was different than other hatched chicken kids but all lived as
family for long.

Day passed by and one day when the kids were roaming on ground, the small eagle kid saw a group of eagle
roaring in the sky.

He liked it so much that he asked the chicken Mom, “Mom can’t I roar like them in sky”

Mom knew what he is talking about but before she could speak, the brother chicken said “Hey dude, don’t
be over ambitious, just live like a chicken, okey?”

Since the eagle kid was aggressive by nature, he waited for the day when he could run away from his
chicken siblings and reach to the top of the mountain.

That was the day he jumped from mountain and tried to balance himself in the air. By virtue and nature of the
eagle, it was not so difficult for him and finally he was soaring one day.

Moral of the story: Eagles are eagles, no matter if they live within chickens, they should learn to soar as soon as they can. Find an eagle in you.

Character Building is a Necessity or Complicity?

Character Building is a Necessity or Complicity?

Now this is something for new parents or aspiring parents.  Proven lessons I learned I from my mother and father.

My parents, especially my mother was almost illiterate. But somehow she believed that she will build a social animal (like me  J ) that would make her proud some day. Where did she learn these lessons only god knows but she took mine and my brother’s character building as complicity.(Other’s take it necessity and fail sometimes)

1. Let our personal priorities take back seat; this is quite difficult but important stage in building a character of a child. Involve yourself in their day to day life.

2. Do not tell them your problems; they may not understand it at their age. Be creative if you want to give them a glimpse of what you are going through.

3. Discipline is the key. Don’t be liberal to everything.

4. Don’t let them be afraid of you, let them respect you while they keep loving you for long.

5. Communication of their problem openly is important; let them speak in front of you and family.
6. Keep reminding them about the long term goal of them or what you expect them to be

7. Reward their small achievements, don’t punish hard for mistakes but don’t forget to tell them the mistake.

8. Help them doing their things in a better way, that’s am easiest way to be friends with them.

9. Encourage their specialty and find a professional way of grooming their god gifted skills.

10. Forgive them but do not forget them, make sure they inform you for whatever they do in day to day life.

11. At teen age, don’t mind to give them difficult tasks and let them do on their own way. Spoon feed is not allowed.

12. Develop a down to earth personality in them, show them the poor and needy and tell them that one day they have to help them.

13. Do not do anything in front of them that you do not want them to do. No Smoking, No Drinking, No sex, No Abusive language should be used in front of them.

14. Keep them away from media, movies, games that promote aggression/fight/killing. Exposure to such things develop a negative mindset and over aggressive nature.

15. Tell them the stories of good karma, great people that inspired you and society. Be it Geeta, Kuran, Bible or Ramayana, read/see/listen yourself first, keep telling good things of those to the children.

Character building in today’s scenario takes lot more effort than it used to be, due to the influence of media, internet and so many things.

Midas Touch : Motivational Story

Once upon a time, there was a king, his name was Midas.
He has lot of Gold in his lockers.
He was counting his gold everyday and feeling proud about it.

One day, a holy saint came close to him while he was counting his gold.

The man asked Midas, make a wish and I will make it true for you.

Midas was quick to make a wish, he said "Whatever I touch, that should turn the Gold".

The holy saint said, OK, are you sure that this is the only wish you have?

The Midas said, Yes I am sure, Please grant this wish to me.

Saint said, Ok, From tomorrow, Whatever you will touch will turn out as Gold.

Midas got up early in the morning and started touching various things to test the Holy man's promise.

He touched the bed and it turned out as Gold, He touched the windows and they became the Gold Windows in few moments.

He wanted his only daughter to know this great virtue he has received.

He sent his slaves to call his daughter, The daughter came to his place and rushed to Hug his father.

As soon as she hugged Midas, She became the Gold Statue.

Midas was upset and full of grief. He cried for his daughter.

he kept crying for the whole day and night till next day, then the saint came again on another day.

He asked Midas if his wish came true? How much Gold he has gathered for now?

Midas cried and complained, "Holy Man, My Only Daughter has become a Gold Statue. I cann't live without her. Take my all god and returrn my Daughter."

Holy man realized that Midas now understands the value of life.

Since Midas was sorry about his mistakes, the holy man reversed his virtue and converted the gold statue back to his Daughter.

Moral : Real values of life are much higher than Gold/Silver/Money. Let's value our life and Love everyone around us.

Motivational Story : A Man and Star fishes

Years ago, there used to be an interesting man,

He was going for morning walk on seashore every day

He was seeing the morning Tide of the sea coming and going back every day

One day he noticed that along with the tide, some star fishes were coming towards the seashore.

But once the tide was going back, the star fishes were left on the seashore.

Gradually they were dying as soon as the morning sun rays were catching them.

Since this man was a humble soul, he determined to save the star fishes.

The task was this,  he was taking the left behind star fishes from the shore and  throwing them back to the water.

He was doing this for as many fishes as he can and saving few lives everyday.

Another man passing by the shore laughed while seeing this all and finally asked the humble man.

“Hey, what difference you would make by doing this? See there are many fishes still left on shore and dying”.

The humble man replied by his act, he took one fish, thrown it towards the sea water and said.

“See I have made difference for this one at least”

The other man was speechless after that act; finally he joined the humble man to do this job well.

Moral : You may not make the difference for all but you can make difference for few. Start today

The joy of appreciating people around you

The joy of appreciating people around you
The joy of appreciating people around you.

I love it when people appreciate my work, character or attitude. You must love the same.

Do you do the same with people around you?

When was the last time you appreciated your parents, your boss, your friend or your care taker?

I consider appreciation as a magic stick. Once its rolled on the people, it works like a wonder.
It gives a sense of satisfaction to the other and it gives a joy to self for appreciating others on their hard work.

I remember the instance from the movie Munnabhai MBBS, The actor Munnabhai ( Sanjay Dutt) appreciated the old cleaning guy at hospital with Jaadu ki Jhappi ( a Magical Hug )

Appreciating people is not difficult but we often either forget it

Or we are shy of doing it

Or we are too busy to do it

Or we are too big to appreciate the small act J

Let me quickly describe the benefits of appreciating people around us.
  1. We improve our relationship with the people around us drastically
  2. We improve our self-image ahead of others  marginally
  3. We increase our happiness index scientifically
  4. We earn good Karma holistically
  5. We love successfully

So what was your experience when you appreciated other's efforts?
Express your feelings.

Know yourself; that is your first Karma

Know Yourself
We end up spending too much of time to understand what is around us, but you will have hard time to reply this question “Do you know yourself?”

The question has lot of practical value as well as spiritual value.

I would take a practical approach towards answering this question, this might help you do a self-analysis.

I won’t be surprised after doing a self-discovery or knowing yourself you will find a totally different person living within you.

OK, so let me ask you this.

When did you felt an electrifying current within you? Off course on a positive side of this effect :-).

Memorize why did you felt that? (Write that activity somewhere please, I will ask this again) .

As per my experience, when we have such extreme feeling, that is the activity we have loved more than anything else in life.

Next question , When was the last time you felt so relaxed that the whole body weight of yours came to almost zero?

(This questions is not for physics lovers, I don’t want to learn that zero gravity theory again :-) )

So you remember what made you feel like this? (Write that activity somewhere, I might remind this again)

Let me ask you a little difficult question now.

When was the last time you did something and you felt like you are almost committing a crime?

(Write that activity and we can take this later in this blog)

What is the thing you do with lot of physical or mental stress and you still don’t feel tired?

What is opposite to that? Where you do a bit and feel bored/tired/stressed vry quick?

(Write all those aside please)

Now here is the clue.

The activities we love to do, where we feel an electrifying current within us, those are the things that excite us, and we should choose such things to align our career towards that activities. Believe me , you will be a most successful person.

The activities that relax you more than anything else, we should do it frequently, regularly. By doing it at frequent intervals, you will improve your happiness index or in other words you will be happiest person on the earth.

The act that deprives you, that make you feel like a criminal are the acts you should avoid doing. It could be a very minute thing, it may not be a crime actually but if it breaks your moral down, that is a crime because you are making yourself unhappy by doing such. So why to repeat such acts.

The acts that make you feel bored/stressed very quickly are the acts actually not meant for your kind of personality.

Something where you never felt like tired, you keept doing it without looking at the clock, are the acts where you should try your career.
The exercise for you is this, write it or memorize it where you felt great and when did you not.

Gradually you will know where your expertise lies and what else is meaningless for you.

Considering the spiritual side of knowing yourself, it said that we are all unique and born with our unique capabilities.

We are all Gems but it’s just the time we have to discover ourselves, the sooner we do it, the quicker we reach to our destined places.

Good luck for self discovery. Know yourself and you will know your God Very soon :-)
